As you see, you convinced me to finish the sketches (thank you very much - everyone who made the effort to write a few words). I wanted to start with the easier and more happy picture, but I'm not sure if it turned out really happy. Well, let's say - a happy moment in a sad story (I've been wondering if Lily was actually the only person who ever saw Severus smiling? EVER?;p).

Looking for the quote I've read the whole chapter for like the third time... I'm hopeless...;p. The Mirror of Erised will be done next, so stay tuned and enjoy this one for now.

Very nice. Actually in my head canon Lily is the only person who saw him smile and he is relaxed in her presence. In my stories Severus has big social problems. He is honest but blunt and tactless, which alienates him from just about everyone (including the nicer Slytherin students in his year). Lily is his only friend (I don't count the Death Eaters in training as "friends").

A wonderful piece of art and Severus is just perfect, just as I imagine him.And Lily's hair colour is nice not reddish as everyone do it. Love the sepia aspect.

Other people doubtless saw ironic smiles, cynical smiles, bitter smiles, malicious smiles, but Lily may be the only one to see a happy smile -- with the possible exception of his mother, when he was very young.
