Artist's Comments

Judyta pushed the door and stepped in. The velvet darkness and red, orange and yellow lights surrounded her banishing the coldness of the wet autumn evening. The air was filled with the scent of tea and honey cake. A few people were sitting in the snuggery corners. Iv was talking to one of the guests, now she turned around looking at the door and smiled, her eyes almost glowing in the dimness like emeralds. Bright cheerful laughter rang out from the little kitchen behind the curtain and Judyta guessed that it must be Joachim teasing the red haired Blanka again. Alexander was there too, sitting at a small table near the counter, with a cup of black tea. He was reading his daily newspaper, looking absent and distant, smoking a cigarette, which she knew, his wife would reprimand him about in any moment. A soothing female voice could be heard singing:

I fear the sentence of this solitude
200 years on hold
(for my loving crime)
Oh and all we ever wanted
Was just to come in from the cold.

Judyta unconsciously smiled at herself and thought about this odd feeling of being at home among those actually strange people. The cold weather outside and the tea room felt like two different dimensions.

Autumn is near because DollHouse is back with new ideas (which makes me very happy - I feel so sentimental about this story like about no other of mine). Since the very beginning I was desperately looking for something that would give the Rittenbergs a chance and possibility to interact with other people, something that would make the story (or stories) a whole, and now I found it - a tea room, inspired by my favourite one (I'm just wondering why the hell I haven't got this idea before?!).

So, well, enough of babbling, just come in from the cold and enjoy(: The person who guesses the artist singing the song gets a cookie. Morinoki, no, you're NOT guessing:D (you'll get your cookie anyway).

i think it's awesome and i'm not trying to criticise u incorrectly but if u added that kind of prespective to the furniture shouldn't u always keep it like that?
I mean, you can notice the furniture has a type of prespective and then the clock has none, and neither does the chair.

best regards!
:iconellaine:
Dziękować bardzo:)

Eeee, ale bez przesady, pierwsza strona gazety to skan jest, aż taką masochistką to ja nie jestem;p
