Vermillion Lies - "Circus Apocalypse"

Because of Hannah Fury, The Dresden Dolls and *vinegar , and a bit of Emiliana Torrini, I'm more and more into dark cabaret lately and victorian stylization.

The music creates the atmosphere, Tim Burton meets realism in my head and there you go - something neither realistic nor cartooni-sh, stylized and recalling the darker side of the story; done for the pure fun of drawing those clothes and creating the atmosphere. And probably because I was ill at that time...

But I hope that you will like it(:

They look so gorgeous! And I'm amazed by the detail on her dress. The winkles and folds seem perfect. Amazing work!!

very nice, love the dress. those stripes could not have been easy to do. the faces came out beautiful. the only thing i'd point out is that she seems a bit tilted, but otherwise awesome!

Ever thought about going into fashion design? :P You could totally bring beautiful Victorian gowns like that back. I know you could. :3
