Howl vel Howell (vel Hauru, as you like) and Sophie from Diana Wynne Jones' wonderful novel "Howl's Moving Castle". I'm not sure which version I like the most - the book or Miyazaki's movie. I just love both - that are two quite different stories after all. And I love them both and how they are arguing all the time in the book (just imagining them married makes me laugh^^).
Anyway, it's just a quick drawing, so it may not be perfect, but I like it. I did it just for fun and because I wanted to. I guess, I will draw them again.
And I would have never expected that drawing pen could be such fun after all.
EDIT: I have added some little details and scanned it again. Now the colours look more like in the original version, even if they're still a bit different.
I never did see the movie, but I read the book and I think your drawing captures the characters perfectly. I love their expressions, you did a really nice job.
Hmm.. I've never read the book, but I've seen the movie! Your version of Howl and Sophie looks so interesting! I love the interaction between the characters!
Your skills are also amazing! Such a beautiful painting!
Makes me want to find the book right now and read it!

I don't know the book but I'll be sure to check it. This makes me think that it must be interresting.
Lovely work on the watercolours, the expressions are awesome and so vivid - oh, the arrogance. The contrast between his darkness and her colors looks great.
... I'm so buying the book.

And thanks for the compliments^^.
You won't regret it, the book is really great. Maybe because it's different from the movie.
