While making the thick brush tutorial (see [link]) I totally fell in love with the oil brushes and wanted to play around with them a bit and so my current wallpaper fell victim to my experimenting enthusiasm q:.
The colours are also a part of the 'experimenting' and they have nothing to do with the original photo. I guess, I've become a green&turquoise freak...

And honestly... I swear to you, this is the last time, I used Mr. Spencer as the object of my experiments! *gets bricked with rotten tomatoes* ouch...

Done in Painter X, started as an underpainting (yeah, I'm lazy) and then painted with Clumpy Brush, Grainy Blender, Opaque Bristle Spray and Round Camelhair, not to mention a little bit of Pens and Chalks. Go and try them out if you use Painter, they're lots of fun, I tell you(:.

OK, little info for still confused folks - this is an electric violin. They come in all the weird shapes, you know, and this isn't even the weirdest one I've seen. And it really does have five strings [link]
