Practicing, practicing, well, I guess, I should start practicing something different. It starts to be booooring... This picture shouldn't be really there, but since it is... let it be.

I think, everyone of us who ever tried to make up a story on his/her own has such a beloved character that is coming back over again, even if the story won't be finished and you almost forgot it ever existed. Ventus is one of those characters for me, one of the first, I have created and I still have a lot of sentiment for him. And looks like I have a thing for one-eyed people...

So, meet the arrogant, ambitious, dangerous, mean, egoccentric, sarcastic, cynical, charming, revengeful (but not really evil) elven magician Ventus (I know, I know, he really doesn't look like that, but that's the point). Last of his kind, he's a memory of a world that doesn't exist anymore.

For the picture itself, I'm somehow not very happy with it, but not everything you do must be perfect, musn't it?

I fave this because it has a original and gorgeous style, it makes me think about the past.. I love the colours, the background and the guy.. his clothes, his skin and his hair are so beautiful!

I completely know what you mean about these recurring characters... I'm very attached to mine, though I'm wise enough now to realize how trivial and unconvincing their stories really are...
I love this picture... He looks like such an intriguing character, I love his sly little smile... And the hair is so pretty!

I really like this picture! He makes me think of one of my own character. I have such a great attachments with my characters, but sadly I can't bring any of them to life on paper like you did. I envy your art work ^_^. It's really beautiful.

Actually, I quite like this picture. I feel like he's looking right at me!

I do like the blue-grey colour and the design of his vest. I design fantasy costumes to wear to science fiction/fantasy conventions and it looks similar to one I sketched out several years ago but never found the right fabric to make it from.

I've noticed that the eyes of the people in your picture look alive. I think that's really awesome!
