Have no fear in your heart
Though you feel you’ve been broken and lost
There’s a place where we will meet up again
There’s a place that mends your hurt and takes you in.
There are times faced alone
When you find all the holes in yourself
You don’t have to walk the night on your own
I will send a prayer with you to lead you on
I will say a prayer for you when you have gone
Bird York - Have no fear
Illustration for Diana Gabaldon's "Outlander", obviously.
Yes, I overuse this song badly, it’s the third time it accompanies my drawings, but I just love it too much. Hope, you forgive me this weakness. And it fits the image too well - I wanted it to be about comfort, safety and peace. Hope, you will like it<3

Tumblr didn't find your blog ( maybe it's just me)
colored in Corel Painter and Photoshop (I often use both at the same time). This is my usual way of working - first I do the drawing in pencil - adding more or less shading, depending on what I want to get in the end effect - then I scan the drawing and add colors in one of the painter programs (well, Photoshop is not necessarily a painter program, however they have added some tools for painting in recent editions and there are also many great brushes that help you to get nice painterly effects).
